Job Description Summary The Support Equipment Repair Program Manager is technical program manager responsible for coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative for all repair special inspection tooling for the engine. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Uses experience to make judgments and provide guidance to team members. Role Overview: Responsible for developing and managing cross functional, technology led, or product focused programs. Manages budgets and interfaces with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal functions. Manages program resource and budget allocation/integration. Manages schedule, budget, and process for NPI, requisition, or sustaining repair special tools. Influences the repair shops to meet customer CTQs. Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology from an accredited university Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or repair related processes Must be willing and able to travel- 10% Preferred Qualifications: Experience in aerospace engine repair processes Understanding/experience in manufacturing processes Demonstrated ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems Established project management skills PC proficiency Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn.
