Description

Overview We are looking for a Lead Python Developer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and telecom domain exposure to drive next-generation digital transformation initiatives. This role involves building scalable backend systems, enabling OSS/BSS integrations, and supporting telecom clients in areas such as network automation, service orchestration, and customer experience platforms Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design and development of backend systems using Python Build and optimize data-driven applications leveraging PostgreSQL Work on telecom-specific platforms including OSS/BSS systems Design APIs and microservices for seamless system integrations Drive network automation and service provisioning workflows Collaborate with client stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams Mentor team members, enforce coding standards, and conduct reviews Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of applications Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI) Deep expertise in PostgreSQL: Performance tuning and query optimization Indexing, partitioning, and schema design Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture Experience working with telecom systems: OSS/BSS platforms Order management, service provisioning, or billing systems Hands-on experience with ORMs (SQLAlchemy / Django ORM) Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) Proficiency in Git and CI/CD practices Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills Telecom Domain Expertise (Preferred) Understanding of telecom frameworks such as: TM Forum (eTOM, SID, Open APIs) Experience in areas like: Network inventory management Service orchestration 5G / Fiber / Broadband systems Integration experience with third-party telecom platforms Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ) Exposure to data engineering or ETL pipelines Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
