Description

Policies, Processes and Procedures: Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a productive work environment. Implement and comply with safety and security procedures to protect employees and company assets. Pre-Contract Supervision: Supervise the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity take-offs for multiple infrastructure tenders. Ensure compliance with CESMM, POMI, and/or client-defined measurement standards across all pre-contract activities. Verify the accuracy and completeness of quantities submitted by project QS teams. Quantity Control and Review: Review quantity take-offs and BOQs prepared by Senior and Project Quantity Surveyors to ensure consistency and technical accuracy. Conduct internal reviews and audits of pre-contract estimation deliverables. Training and Mentorship: Provide on-the-job training to junior Quantity Surveyors on pre-contract procedures and estimation standards. Support the technical development and performance evaluation of QS team members. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with engineering and design teams to clarify quantity-related issues in drawings. Support the tender department by providing accurate and timely quantity information for bid pricing. Attend coordination meetings as a representative of the estimation team. Documentation and Standardization: Ensure consistency in BOQ formats, templates, and quantity reports across all projects. Maintain accurate records of BOQs, revisions, and estimation-related correspondence. Miscellaneous Duties: Perform additional duties as required to support team objectives and overall business needs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Other Requirements: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement. Solid understanding of CESMM and POMI. Fluency in both English and Arabic. High proficiency in quantity take-off software, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Years of Experience: 8 to 14 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure and heavy civil projects, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior role, preferably within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.

Responsibilities

The Lead Engineer, Quantity Survey will supervise the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities and ensure compliance with measurement standards. They will also provide training and mentorship to junior Quantity Surveyors and coordinate with engineering teams.
