Majesco is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by effectively analyzing requirements, designing and executing test cases, and contributing to automation efforts. All About the Role: Job Description To Understand / Analyse requirements, Design Test Scenarios / Test Cases, Review traceability Matrix, Review of Test Cases, Creation / Review Test Data, Test Execution of Complex Scenarios / Test Cases, Prepare Test Artifacts, Defect Management & Analysis, Quality Process adherence, Client Interaction, Mentor Junior Team Members, Identify Risks and Provide Presales support. An individual also needs to contribute efforts in Automation scripting & should have experience on Sellenium, BDD, serenity Key Responsibilities: Manual Testing: * Execute manual testing assignments as per project requirements and deadlines. * Analyze requirements at the module level to ensure comprehensive test coverage. * Identify gaps in requirements or artifacts and suggest improvements. * Prepare and maintain a traceability coverage matrix to ensure complete requirement-to-test mapping. * Identify integration points with other modules/systems and design test scenarios/cases accordingly. * Analyze the impact of changes and provide effort estimates for testing. Test Artifacts & Documentation: * Create and maintain test scenarios and test cases based on project needs. * Review test scenarios created by peers and junior team members to ensure quality and accuracy. Defect Management: * Log, track, and update defects, ensuring timely follow-ups for resolution. * Coordinate with developers to validate fixes and perform re-testing before closure. * Participating in Defect triage activity Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: * Track and report testing progress at a release level. * Participate in internal reviews and provide updates on test execution status. * Manage escalations related to schedule delays or testing blockers and ensure timely resolution. Automation Testing Support: * Collaborate with the Automation team to execute automated test scripts in relevant environments. * Provide feedback on functional coverage and verification points to enhance automation efficiency for individual features.
