The Boeing Company Oklahoma City (OKC) site performs major modernization and modification of aircraft across a broad portfolio of military products, including bombers, advanced sensor aircraft and executive transport aircraft.
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lead Engineering Skill Team Captain –Aircraft Modernization & Modification (AMM) in Oklahoma City, OK.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree of Science or higher
  • Interpreting data for process improvements/efficiencies
  • 5+ years of experience adjacent to Project Management
  • 5S Lean experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience in Quality Standards

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required

Responsibilities
  • Leads teams to research, analyze and compile complex technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle
  • Applies complex systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of system of systems, systems and new product development
  • Derives and develops complex architectures, functional requirements, refinements and product designs
  • Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product
  • Provides leadership to project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives
  • Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes and software tools
  • Provide technical leadership, develops training, leads and mentors others
  • Works under consultative direction
