In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with various stakeholders, including our experienced engineering team, Cloud Operations, Security, Compliance, and other key partners. Your primary focus will be on engineering practices to streamline our software development processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our cloud platform. You will gain hands-on experience with a variety of DevSecOps tools and application and platform technologies, helping to build and maintain our continuous integration and delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment processes. You will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including application and platform automation, infrastructure management, monitoring, and performance optimization. Your foundational understanding of application and platform engineering concepts, practices, and tools will be critical as you contribute to the implementation of best practices and the optimization of our platform workflows. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design and Engineer scalable and reliable software systems. Define and implement best practices in coding with support of AI Lead the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of platforms. Lead work activities using SRE principles, such as resilience, metrics, capacity planning, toil, Incident management and security Manage cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, QA, etc.). Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders including executives. Implement and Manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency. Build and help transform container and serverless architectures, such as AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Services), Docker and Azure Functions. Ensure software and platforms comply with security standards and regulations. Implement security best practices and conduct regular security assessments. Adhere to access controls and protect sensitive data. Create and maintain technical documentation. Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure setups. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Continuously improve systems, processes, and methodologies. Participate in agile / scrum project planning and execution. Adhere to projects schedule and budgets. Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine requirements. Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable and high-quality deliverables. Explore generative AI technologies to enhance software capabilities. Deploy AI models for automated content generation and predictive analytics. OTHER DUTIES Performs other duties as assigned by management On call rotation responsibilities with the Service Delivery and Operations Team JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the DevSecOps engineering discipline (prefer enterprise engineering experience or equivalent), with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Minimum 2 year of experience with AI and Generative AI technologies or equivalent Experience with Application and Infrastructure Operations Professional Software development certification (PSD), Azure / AWS DevOps Certification or relevant experience Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks and infrastructure management. In-depth knowledge of programming frameworks (e.g., .NET, JAVA) and application development. Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) management, including writing and maintaining modules. Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), including creating and managing pipelines. Comprehensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including designing and implementing cloud services and architectures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ensuring application / platform reliability and scalability.
