Description
The Lead Epic Ambulatory / Clinical and Population Health Analyst serves as the primary support contact for the Ambulatory (Clinical) and Population Health Applications. Performs and coordinates complex analysis, design, development, testing and support services for assigned applications.  Responsible for and oversees day-to-day tracking of issues and questions of daily operations as it pertains to the application. Qualifications *  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or other related field. * Experience working in medium to large size projects of 500 – 1,000+ hours. * Experience working in a healthcare environment * Three (3) to five (5) years progressively responsible experience in information applications, including one year performing programming or applications analysis, or equivalent. * EPIC Ambulatory Certification – Required * EPIC Healthy Planet Certificate – HIGHLY PREFERRED * Certificates in other EPIC Outpatient Modules – a plus * Requires knowledge of the client areas function and systems, technology alternatives, and ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff. * Knowledge of applications security and control procedures in accordance with departmental, vendor standards and regulatory bodies. * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to understand customer requirements and their impact on the technical aspects of a solution * Ability to work in a complex multi‑communication‑channel environment * Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams * Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues * Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to manage one’s own work independently in a fast –paced environment with changing priorities. * Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Work PowerPoint, etc.) * Strong knowledge of Cadence and Ambulatory Epic Application * Demonstrates ability to develop complex specifications for all aspects of applications, and familiarity with problem analysis, hardware/software configurations and application integration * Knowledge in coding.
Responsibilities
