JOB SUMMARY

Alliance Exteriors Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our specialty siding installation projects. This position requires a strong understanding of estimating software, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively negotiate with vendors and subcontractors. As an Estimator, you will work closely with our project managers and stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals while maintaining high standards of quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in construction estimating or a similar field, preferably in the specialty trades or exterior installations.
• Proficiency in estimating software, with a tech-savvy approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with a history of securing favorable terms for past projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accurate and reliable pricing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and industry standards, particularly in exterior construction, is a plus.
• A degree in architectural technology, project management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Prepare precise cost estimates for siding and exterior projects using industry-standard software.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documentation to develop thorough and reliable estimates.
• Collaborate with project management teams to understand project requirements, timelines, and constraints.
• Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best rates and ensure project profitability.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors to enhance future bidding opportunities.
• Review and adjust estimates based on project scope changes, materials, and other factors.
• Maintain detailed records of all estimates, revisions, and related communications.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
