Department: Food and Beverage Reports To: Hospitality Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Lead Event Host to manage and execute a variety of events. The Lead Events Host will be responsible for ensuring events run smoothly, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of event staff. Event Planning & Coordination Assist the Hospitality Manager in planning, organizing, and executing events (meeting rooms, dinners,lunches, cocktails etc.). Oversee event setup, breakdown, and logistics to ensure smooth operations. Assist the Hospitality Manager to Coordinate with vendors, caterers, AV teams, and other service providers as needed. Ensure all event details (seating, décor, timelines, special requests) are executed flawlessly. Guest Experience & Hospitality Act as the primary point of contact for guests during events, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and courteously. Maintain high standards of service, anticipating guest needs to enhance their experience. Team Leadership & Staff Coordination Supervise and guide event staff (Hosts, bartenders, etc.) to ensure efficient service. Assist in training new team members on event protocols and hospitality standards. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members adhere to timelines and procedures. Operational Support Assist with inventory management, ensuring event supplies are stocked and organized. Help troubleshoot any issues that arise during events (technical difficulties, delays, staffing shortages). Ensure compliance with health, safety, and venue regulations. Post-Event Duties Assist in post-event evaluations, gathering feedback for continuous improvement. Support breakdown and cleanup, ensuring the venue is restored to its original condition. Provide event reports to the Hospitality Manager, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Requirements Qualifications & Skills Experience: 2+ years in event coordination, hospitality, or a related role (leadership experience preferred). Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in event software/tools (e.g., booking systems, Microsoft Office). Attributes: High energy, professionalism, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. Certification in event planning or hospitality management. Physical Requirements This position requires working in various event venues and environments. May involve standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
