This is an Hourly position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead EVS Tech is responsible for leading & overseeing activities of Environmental Services Techs and providing a safe and hygienic environment for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff. The Lead role will accept supervisory responsibilities as requested and assists with coordinating hospital throughput and efficiency as it relates to timely and quality-driven patient room cleans. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 1year of environmental services experience. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED Experience: Prior lead or supervisory experience Licensure/ Certification: Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) certification, Certified Healthcare Environmental Technician (CHEST) certification or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification.
