Now there is a great opportunity to join our dynamic Beverage team in Belgium as Lead Expert Product Application Beverages to support our European Beverage business. In our European centre of expertise for cold Beverages, we develop amazing beverage applications, in response to customer briefs, as well as for proactive concept development. The Lead Expert Product Application Beverage will be responsible for the application of our Ingredient Solutions portfolio (nutritional solutions, colors, hydrocolloids, proteins etc) and work closely with colleagues of our Taste team to develop beverage applications that are delicious and nutritious. This role is key in further building our ambition to be a unique solution provider to our customers and requires a strong blend of in-depth technical expertise, excellent communication abilities and cross-functional teamwork capabilities. Deliver applications in close collaboration with Taste colleagues for a variety of beverage segments, responding to customer briefs with short turnaround time, as well as marketing initiatives for new joint concepts. Act as the technical application expert for the ingredient solutions portfolio in a broad range of beverage applications, with clear understanding of stability and performance criteria of our ingredients. Design outstanding product formulations to showcase the performance of our functional ingredient portfolio in multiple beverage matrices. Conduct hands-on lab work, including application, testing, and optimization of applications to convey value propositions and added value. Coordinate sensory and stability evaluations to validate the effectiveness and acceptability of our solutions. Review and improve portfolio of ingredients solutions used in Beverages in close connection with regional stakeholders. Work closely with global Beverage ISOL application team, European Technical Service managers and nutrition premix formulators to leverage overall know-how and coordinate activities. Document and communicate project progress, results, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to effectively convey technical findings, project outcomes, methodologies, and ways of working. Gather info on competitor solutions and how they perform versus our portfolio and provide input to our global application and innovation teams for future developments of our portfolio.
