JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join our maintenance team as a skilled and proactive technician! The Lead Facilities & Mechanical Technician will perform hands-on building maintenance, utilities, equipment, and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC systems, plumbing repairs, and electrical issues while ensuring strong safety compliance standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 21 years old,
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 3+ years in electrical, plumbing, carpentry or general facility maintenance
  • 1+ year leading or managing maintenance tasks
  • Preferred: refrigeration, industrial electronics, motors, hydraulics experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand/walk long hours, frequently bending and lifting up to 75lbs
  • Meet PA driver’s license vision/hearing standards
  • Outdoor work in seasonal weather
  • Conservative, neat attire required

Responsibilities
  • Perform general upkeep, renovation and building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)
  • Maintain and repair equipment (tractors, loaders, trucks, forklifts, etc.)
  • Conduct preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and minimize downtime
  • Electrical troubleshooting and plumbing repairs as needed
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, utility providers, and local agencies
  • Recommend and implement facility upgrades
  • After 12 months step into department leadership, providing guidance to seasonal staff
  • Report project progress to Head Mechanic, Production Manager and Owner/Board
  • Collaborate with Event Coordinator to support season-specific activities
  • Provide on-call maintenance support, including occasional weekends
