Description
In this role, you will: Support customers across the power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies; identify and present additional sales opportunities to customers Provide 24/7 on-call availability in field service engineering and technical support for electrical power distribution equipment Proficient in power distribution, troubleshooting, test equipment operation communication, policies, software, parts knowledge, and safety precautions Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, service shops, and other organizations Possess knowledge of UL, NEMA, and NEC standards. Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties. Manage multiple projects independently Regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to push/pull > 50 pounds with assistance. May be required to drive extended distances, work in extreme weather and temperature conditions, work at sites with areas that have poor lighting, ventilation, and dust and/or be exposed to high noise levels. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment assembly Works well under time constraints and in stressful situations Explain technical problems and solutions Collaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlines High School Diploma or GED equivalent or higher with minimum 5 years of testing, troubleshooting and commissioning power distribution equipment (switchgear, relays, VFDs) No relocation offered, candidates must be within a 75-mile radius of Jacksonville Fl to be considered.
