ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a Permanent position on a 4:3 roster, FIFO from Cairns or Darwin.

As the Lead Finance, reporting into the Manager Commercial, you will be responsible for overseeing GEMCO’s finance function to support operational success, financial discipline and sustainable value creation.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Coordinate budgets, forecasts and strategic financial analysis.
• Provide cost insights and capital investment advice to inform decisions.
• Engage joint venture partners and maintain financial controls and compliance.
• Develop finance team capability and support continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• At least 10 years’ finance experience in large, listed environments, preferably within mining and processing.
• Leadership and development of professional finance teams in complex operations.
• Cost analysis, capital expenditure management and financial risk assessment.
• Collaboration across operational, commercial and corporate teams to align financial plans with business goals.

Qualifications for this position are: 

• Finance degree or equivalent.
• CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent.
