We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Financial Systems Analyst – Corporate Tax with advanced experience in data management and tax software (CorpTax and/or OneSource) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the end to end income tax compliance and provision functions and automation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role to design and implement tax technology solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor and advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with CorpTax and/or OneSource software.
  • Experience in corporate and partnership tax compliance and/or tax accounting
  • Experience in Oracle CFAS, HFM, FDMEE, FDW, Microsoft 365 applications a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make impactful decisions within broadly defined practices and policies.
  • Strong understanding of corporate tax compliance, regulations, and complex filing requirements.
    Our Lead Financial Systems Analyst earn between $118,800 - $178,200 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Responsibilities
  • Tax Software Applications Compliance and Filing: Subject matter expert level experience includes exporting and importing of files into database, roll-over, clean-up, and training. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise.
  • Data Management: Manage large amounts of data efficiently and effectively. Implement changes and enhancements needed within the tax software resulting from GAAP financial reporting changes, M&A activities, legal entity profile changes and new tax legislation for US federal, state, and international income tax compliance. Maintain tax legal entity trial balances mapping and load into tax software for quarterly ES, extension, and return. Maintain documentation and internal control.
  • Collaborative Planning: Collaborate with other team to develop end to end income tax processes. Provide technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing financial systems.
  • Process Transformation: Support ongoing automation solutions to enhance and streamline existing processes. Works on all phases of systems development and maintenance. Act as a liaison to internal IT Corp Systems. Implement solutions to financial systems problems and oversees testing of system modifications designed to accommodate these solutions.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple concurrent tax-related initiatives, demonstrating strong project management skills to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Decision Making: Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Deadline Management: Ensure all required tax filing deadlines are met with precision and efficiency.
