Next Level Technician is urgently hiring a Lead Fire Alarm Technician for a long-term opportunity in the San Antonio, TX area for $28-$40 per hour based on experience.
Lead Fire Alarm Technicians at Next Level Technician will be working at a variety of Commercial and Industrial sites. These sites can include schools, hospitals, offices, retail stores, and industrial plants and warehouses. Each site and scope of work will be unique and add to the skillset and knowledge of the Low Voltage Cable Technician!

Lead Fire Alarm Technician Responsibilities:

• Pull, terminate, dress and label fire alarm cable
• Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment
• Terminate Fire Alarm Panels and Devices.
• Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints
• Troubleshoot and service existing systems

Lead Fire Alarm Technician Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience installing and servicing commercial fire alarms systems
• Must have a Texas Fire System License
• Ability to pull, terminate and test all standard industry cables types
• Fire Systems Knowledge must include in Silent Knight & Fire-Lite by Honeywell.
• Able to complete quarterly, semi-annual inspections
• Competent working knowledge of National Electronic Code
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize all tools pertaining to installation of various Low Voltage Systems including Multimeter
• Ownership of basic telecom tools: punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, & boots
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards
