Description
Must have Full Time ME/M.Tech with specialization in Thermal / Heat Power / Aerospace from a reputed Institute. Minimum 9 years of experience in CFD domain, Desirable experience in telecommunication, Electronics, and electrical industry products. Expert level knowledge in Electronics cooling (component level to System level) simulation. Experience with Datacenter internal & external analysis Expertise on Steady, Transient Analysis using simulation SW such as Icepak / 6Sigma ET / 6Sigmaroom / Simcenter FloTHERM is added advantage Expertise in Ansys Fluent Steady and Transient simulation with single phase and multiphase fluid analysis for different systems Responsibilities include interpreting customer inputs to create product simulation models required in Fluent to perform CFD analysis, Pre-processing, Setup, post-processing, results and generating customer reports. Ability to generate good quality optimum mesh for models to minimize solve time and resolve convergence issue in analysis software as well as guide team to address problems in their analysis model. Highly skilled in ability to interpret the simulation results, predict the root cause of failure and provide recommendation to meet or improve the performance of the system. Sound knowledge and deep understanding of subjects like Thermal Engineering / CFD / Fluid Mechanics / Heat Transfer. Knowledge of industry standards (UL, NEMA, IEC and Telcordia) will be added advantage. Expert in ability to interpret the CFD results, predict the root cause of failure and provide recommendation to meet or improve the performance of the system. Ability to provide coaching to the junior engineers to execute projects and recommend/make key engineering decisions. Work with Engineering team of different line of business for simulation need and recommend design changes as applicable. Validate concept designs using simulation techniques and determine design robustness, critical to function requirements. Capable of Handling Multiple Projects simultaneously. Strong Conceptual, problem solving and Analytical Skills. Deploy standardized process and work methodology. Must be fluent in English with excellent communication skills – strong written and verbal. Ability to prepare comprehensive technical reports, crisp presentations, proposals, statements of work etc. Good experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Demonstrate positive attitude, high ethics, and a working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
