This role will report into our Senior Manager - Risk Analytics . This role will be responsible for owning our team’s data strategy, providing data visualizations, and working closely with operational teams to understand monitoring needs. An ideal candidate wants to grow into a people and team leader at some point in the future to continue to grow this function. What You Will Do: Toast is looking for a Lead Analyst for our Fraud and Risk Analytics Team. This role will report into our Sr Manager of Risk Analytics. Work cross-functionally with other data & product teams at Toast to ensure data availability and accuracy & influence business decisions Coordinate with the Fraud Teams to understand their reporting needs, and iterate on dashboards and visualizations to allow them to track metrics to achieve their business goals Work closely with operational teams to build monitoring and alerting to minimize gaps in our fraud and risk program Ingest data from external vendors and coalesce with Toast data to analyze efficacy of vendors Work cross-functionally with other data teams at Toast to ensure data availability and accuracy Analyze large sets of transaction data to develop fraud mitigation strategy Do you have the right ingredients? 5-8 years of experience in data analysis, experience in fraud and/or risk is a plus Strong leadership skills and have passion to become future leaders for the teams.
