Description
Description At Sharbert Enterprises, we are more than a workplace—we are a community built on unwavering family values, a passion for service and excellence, and a commitment to innovation and adventure. We believe in acting as neighbors at heart, nurturing trusted teams, and creating mutual success with our partners. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and proactive Shift Lead to join our airport operations team. This role is essential in supporting our internal customer service mission: serving our fellow employees—the front-line staff in restaurants and retail stores—so they can focus fully on delivering outstanding service to travelers. At Sharbert, customer service doesn’t always mean interacting with travelers directly. Instead, it means doing anything and everything that helps our customer-facing team members stay in their stores or restaurants, uninterrupted and empowered to serve. This includes a wide range of delivery and fulfillment tasks that keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate shift operations to ensure smooth, efficient support for front-line teams. Provide hands-on assistance to employees across multiple locations, anticipating and responding to needs. Perform critical support tasks such as: Delivering supplies, food, and inventory to stores and restaurants. Running errands across terminals to fulfill urgent operational needs. Assisting with stockroom organization and inventory movement. Responding to real-time requests for equipment, packaging, or materials. Supporting fulfillment of catering or special order requests. Foster a culture of trust, respect, and teamwork among support staff and customer-facing employees. Ensure internal service standards are met with excellence and urgency. Communicate effectively with management and team members to relay updates, challenges, and solutions. Uphold safety, compliance, and operational protocols. Encourage a spirit of community and collaboration, reflecting Sharbert’s values in every action. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to innovative solutions. Qualifications Previous experience in a leadership or support role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead by example and motivate others. Commitment to internal customer service and team success. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Why Join Sharbert Enterprises? Be part of a company that values family, service, and community. Work in a team-oriented environment where trust and mutual success are prioritized. Support a mission that empowers others to deliver world-class customer experiences. Grow with a company that embraces innovation and adventure. Make a meaningful impact—not just in the workplace, but in the lives of your teammates.
