As the German Armed Forces' primary digitalization partner, we provide stable, secure, and efficient IT services both domestically and internationally, from routine operations to operational deployments, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement of the German Armed Forces' command and control capabilities. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are passionate about further developing the German Armed Forces' IT infrastructure through challenging digitalization projects and thus contributing to Germany's security. 

The Customer Solutions (CS) Land & Air division sees itself as a supporter and driver of the digitalization of the German Armed Forces in both the land and air dimensions. Our division supports both the military and civilian organizational units of the German Armed Forces in the operational, procedural, and organizational challenges of digitalization.

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for the technical architectures of full-stack applications
• Interface design: API design, data flow, integration of external systems and design and maintenance of APIs and interfaces (REST, gRPC, GraphQL)
• Development and programming of IT solutions with backend and frontend components
• Conducting code reviews, code audits, and ensuring quality standards
• Coordination of distributed teams (agile, Scrum/Kanban), DevOps coordination

Your profile:

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field 
• Experience in at least 2 technology stack areas (e.g. Rust + TypeScript/Go + Python)
• Strong knowledge of API design (REST, GraphQL, event-based APIs)
• Knowledge of integrating ML models (e.g., via ONNX, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and developing edge AI applications with Rust (e.g., for IoT, robotics, autonomous driving)
• Understanding of IT security (AuthN/AuthZ, TLS, Secrets Management)
• Knowledge of system design and architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and containerized environments (e.g. Docker, K8s)
