You’ll architect scalable solutions, guide technical decisions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products. You will operate in a remote-first environment with talented peers, driving technical excellence and contributing to innovative, fast-moving projects across Europe. \n Accountabilities: Lead full-stack development across backend, frontend, database, and DevOps layers, with a strong emphasis on backend engineering. Design and implement robust application architecture using Node.js, Angular or React, and modern database technologies. Write and maintain Unit and Integration Tests for both backend and frontend codebases. Participate in requirement gathering, project planning, and agile rituals to ensure smooth delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and performant web applications. Support continuous improvement, providing technical guidance and best practices to the development team. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in web application development, with deep expertise in JavaScript-based backend frameworks such as Node.js and Express. Strong professional experience with frontend frameworks including Angular, React, or Vue. Solid understanding of databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and experience writing single-threaded Node.js applications. Familiarity with CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS and proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code. Excellent command of written and spoken English and proven ability to work in a fully remote environment. Nice-to-have skills include Python or Go development experience and knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS. Benefits: Remote-first role open to candidates living and eligible to work anywhere in Europe. Competitive yearly compensation between 50,000 and 60,000 euros, aligned with experience. Independent contractor agreement with long-term stability. Flexible working hours and 25 days of paid vacation, plus December 24 and 31 and an additional day off on your birthday if it falls on a weekday. Strong career development framework with clear growth opportunities and a dedicated training budget. \n Why Apply Through Jobgether?
