Job Description Typical Business Title(s): Lead Generation, Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative Definition: Responsible for the execution of lead generating digital and physical marketing promotions to effectively engage targeted audiences. Uses prospect databases and demand generation/marketing automation technology to achieve objectives. Applies deep understanding of company’s products, the competitive industry and company posture in the marketplace in responses to inquiries. Directs qualified leads to sales team for appropriate follow-up and close. Creates reports and performs analyses from outreach/response tracking vehicles including email, website response/inquiries, social media and direct messaging Qualifications Is an entry-level position and may require basic knowledge of job procedures and tools, technical education is not necessarily required.
