JOB TITLE: LEAD GENERATION SPECIALIST

Hours: This is a full time, remote position.
Job Summary: The Lead Generation Specialist is a motivated and results driven professional who is familiar with Medicaid Waiver Support Coordinators, confident on the phone, resilient in the face of rejection, and skilled at building rapport quickly. The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for making outbound calls to Brokers, Coordinators, and Case Managers, introducing our services, and generating interest that leads to sales opportunities. The Lead Generation Specialist leverages their knowledge of Medicaid Waiver and Self-Direction programs to help facilitate meaningful discussions with Brokers about how GameU’s services can support their clients’ needs. The Lead Generation Specialist is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in communication to generate and nurture leads which contributes directly to business development and long-term customer relationships. The Lead Generation Specialist lends support to the Enrollment Team as needed. This role requires traveling to events and trade shows to network, generate leads, and represent GameU’s brand in person.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of Medicaid programs, including Medicaid Case Management processes, fiscal intermediary services, policies, and eligibility requirements.
  • Proven experience in telemarketing, sales, customer service, or a similar role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrate active listening skills
  • Strong persuasive abilities and resilience when handling objections or rejection
  • Ability to learn about GameU services and explain them to Brokers and families clearly
  • Comfortable working with scripts, while also able to adapt conversations naturally
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems are a plus
  • Willingness to travel regularly to events, trade shows, or other networking opportunities
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable on camera for meetings, presentations, or calls while maintaining a professional appearance

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Four year degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Experience with Medicaid Case Management and/or Special Needs Products
  • Experience with the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Able to lift 10lbs

    Pay: $73,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Travel to events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent GameU and generate new leads.
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to Brokers throughout the country.
  • Introduce and promote GameU services in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Leverage knowledge of Medicaid systems, Fiscal Intermediary services, and Medical Self-Direction programs to facilitate conversations with Brokers about how GameU’s services can support their clients’ needs.
  • Identify prospective students by asking Brokers relevant questions and assessing their needs.
  • Schedule appointments and follow up on calls for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and outcomes in CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly call, lead generation, and conversion targets.
  • Handle objections professionally and redirect conversations toward opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead quality and conversion strategies.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to Brokers by connecting Medicaid services with GameU’s offerings, helping them understand the benefits for their clients.
  • Assist the sales team with enrolling students as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
