The Role:
We’re looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Lead Generator to join our dynamic team and help us expand our market reach within the payments sector. You’ll play a crucial role in identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential clients, contributing directly to our continued growth. The role will entail B2B cold calling, email marketing and managing the Area Managers diaries, as well as successfully securing inbound leads and renewing existing custom.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive outreach: Utilize your passion for sales to actively seek out and connect with potential businesses across the South Coast who could benefit from South Coast Payments’ card payment solutions.
  • Engage with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of leads and prospects, meticulously tracking progress and interactions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation strategies and ensure seamless transitions through the sales funnel.
  • Analyse lead generation metrics and identify opportunities to refine strategies, optimize campaigns, and improve conversion rates.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in payments and lead generation.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation or outbound sales, industry experience would be beneficial but not necessarily required.
  • Strong enthusiasm to learn and understand the payments industry,
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proficient in using CRM systems and other lead generation tools.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with determination to succeed and grow your sales career.
