Description A Lead Guardian is responsible for supervising the daily operations for the Flagger/Guardian crews they are assigned. Responsibilities: Implement crew schedule received from the Field Supervisor. Get ice, water and gas for crews daily. Ensure Flaggers/Guardians have all PPE on, compliant work zones, and are meeting/exceeding customer needs. Training and coaching Flaggers/Guardians. Work closely with the Field Supervisor to report any concerns and ensure that they get corrected in a timely manner. Assist the Field Supervisor in gathering all work vehicle keys at the end of the shift. Keep up with gas and credit card receipts and submit them to the Field Supervisor in a timely manner. Other job duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience of interstate traffic control experience Pass a drug screen and background check prior to employment. Have a valid driver's license, good driving record and qualify as a company driver. Be a minimum of 21 years of age. Have reliable transportation to and from work. Be willing to travel. Paid housing & per diem on special cases. Be willing to work 8 – 10-hour shifts, weekends if necessary. Have reliable communication to receive work schedule. Provide your own steel-toe or composite work shoes to be worn during your work shift. Regular, reliable, on-site attendance Physical Requirements: Be able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates of heat, cold, and rain. Be able to stand throughout your entire shift, hand and arm movement is required. Be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
