We are currently seeking a Construction Lead Hand to join our crew. This role is perfect for someone who is highly skilled, motivated, and ready to step into a leadership position on-site.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years experience in residential construction/renovation
• Strong carpentry skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is an asset
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Basic tools required (company supplies larger tools and equipment)

• Assist Site Supervisor/Project Manager with daily operations on residential renovation and new build sites
• Lead small crews and delegate tasks to labourers and apprentices
• Perform hands-on carpentry and renovation work (framing, drywall, flooring, trim, etc.)
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
• Communicate with trades, suppliers, and team members effectively
• Problem-solve on-site issues with a professional, solutions-focused approach
