Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Lead Hand to oversee daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all aspects of material handling, shipping, and receiving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Lead by example to maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
  • Assign tasks and support team members to meet deadlines and operational goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and stock control.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
  • Enforce health and safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments to resolve issues and improve workflow.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership or supervisory experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Forklift certification an asset.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation

  • Annual salary: $48,000 – $56,000 CAD
