Upvest’s clients include some of the biggest Fintechs in Europe such as Revolut, N26 and Raisin and we are now launching in the UK. The company was founded in 2017 by Martin Kassing and currently employs more than 180 people across Europe. Its latest €100m fundraising round (Series C) was led by Hedosophia and Sapphire Venture, with continued support from existing investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Earlybird, HV Capital, Motive Ventures, and Notion Capital.
We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution offering a wide range of efficient and transparent investment products, such as stocks and ETFs in nominal, portfolio, and fractional form. Our mission and vision is to make investing as easy as spending money.
We are looking for an exceptional Lead / Head of UK Product to lead our product vision and roadmap in the UK. We have built a market leading investment API product powering Europe’s largest fintechs and it will be your opportunity to define the product roadmap & vision to do the same in the UK.
You will work directly with Mislav Ilich (Product Director), Symmie Swil (GM UK) and Til Rochow (Co-founder/CPO) owning topics critical to Upvest’s product and business success

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • You have at least 5-7 years experience working in product management & leadership roles - with focus on UK investments. Experience in Fintech and B2B SaaS is a big plus.
  • Understanding of and a focus on B2B client needs and how to delight them. You have a clear bias for impact and speed in product discovery and delivery.
  • Be a sponge! We don’t need you to be expert on everything we do. But you will need to be able to absorb knowledge on complicated topics quickly (e.g. core processes around our brokerage, settlement & custody) and combine with your expertise on product management best practices.
  • You are comfortable working with and discussing trade-offs with members of the engineering team. You have strong experience balancing fast delivery and technical debt to deliver robust, resilient and scalable software.
  • You are a strong collaborator and are comfortable leading through influencing, creating direction and clear prioritisation in an ambiguous and collaborative working environment.
  • End to end thinking: You like to think holistically and understand the second order impact on end-users, our clients and diverse stakeholders such as operations, compliance and partners
  • Experience with product manager’s toolkits - such as product discovery, ticketing and documentation software (e.g., Linear, Slite, Miro, Figma etc.)
