The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff and ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are executed to the highest standards. This role includes planning and executing cleaning projects, scheduling tasks, and ensuring timely completion of cleaning assignments to maintain a neat and orderly workplace. The Lead Housekeeper also addresses cleaning challenges, troubleshoots issues related to supplies/equipment, and makes decisions on cleaning methods and priorities to meet cleanliness standards. Collaboration with cross functional teams is essential, and overseeing a cleaning team, the Lead Housekeeper provides guidance, training, and support to team members, ensuring high cleaning standards and positive work environment. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the housekeeping/cleaning team Assign daily tasks and ensure all office assigned areas are properly cleans and sanitized Schedule cleaning around company events and/or visitors to ensure the cleanliness is to the highest standard. Maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, and common areas Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met Train new housekeeping staff on procedures and safety protocols Monitor inventory and order cleaning supplies as needed Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management Ensure compliance with company policies and health regulations Assist with other cleaning duties when needed Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent English speaking (Required), Bilingual preferred Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience required Prior Supervisory or lead experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lead and motivate a team Good communication and time management skills Ability to stand, bend, lift (at least 25 pounds), and perform physical tasks.
