Responsibilities

As a Lead HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with frontline and management team driving HSE excellence across a business where everyone is responsible for HSE.
  • Coaching and mentoring supervisors and managers on building a strong HSE culture and accountability for HSE in their areas.
  • Working closely with local and regional HSE teams as well as SME on specific risks relating to a Oil & Gas supply base.
  • Providing support to and participate in emergency response arrangements, including the development and maintenance of procedures and training.
  • Developing and deliver HSE awareness and workforce engagement programmes as required.
  • Focusing on the Health aspects of HSE especially mental health promotion among the site

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor’s degree or NEBOSH or Cert 4 in OHS Certificate or equivalent
  • Have at least 5 years of working experience related with HSE background
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills. Have strong problem-solving skills
  • Be able to work independently
