Description Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead HVAC Technician with a strong foundation of HVAC knowledge and tenured, seasoned technician in field to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold current EPA and HVAC certifications, possess 5-7 years of experience, including at least 2 years as a lead technician. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of split residential HVAC systems, packaged unit residential systems, and potentially light commercial HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities: - Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. - Properly diagnose, inspect and perform repairs and replacements. - Identify and size new residential HVAC systems. - Perform routine preventative maintenance. - Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. - Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships. - Mentor and support junior technicians, fostering their development and growth. - Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. - Collaborate with the management team to improve processes and service quality. Qualifications: - Current EPA certification. - Current HVAC certifications. - 5 to 7 years of experience in the HVAC field. - Minimum of 2 years experience as a lead technician. - Extensive knowledge of split residential HVAC systems and packaged unit residential systems. - Light commercial HVAC experience is a plus. - Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to size and install new HVAC systems. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Able to handle demanding workload and physical labor. - Proven leadership and team management abilities. - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. - Must agree to background check and drug screen to be employed - Fluent in English / Bilingual preferred - Ability to work in challenging environments (hot sun, cold, wind, tight spaces, etc.) - Capable of standing for long stretches of time and working at heights (on rooftops, climb ladders and stairs) - Must be willing to travel - Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during work, including but not limited to peers and customers - Current Driver’s license, and clean drivers abstract
