As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Lead HVAC Installer to join our team.
Position Overview
The Lead HVAC Installer will be responsible for overseeing residential and light commercial HVAC installations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This role requires both hands-on installation work and leadership in guiding apprentices and junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related HVAC systems
• Ensure installations meet all code, safety, and quality standards
• Provide mentorship, training, and direction to apprentices and installers
• Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate effectively with customers and the office team
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site installation challenges
• Represent Borts HVAC with professionalism and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential and/or commercial)
• Gas Technician 2 (G2) or higher certification required
• Sheet metal license considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation best practices, and Ontario building codes
• Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean driving record
• Leadership skills and ability to manage a small team on job sites
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
