As Lead Infrastructure Engineer you will have proficient and hands-on technical experience, with working knowledge of Cyber Security and DevOps. You will play a crucial role in implementing, and maintaining our organization’s IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, networks, and servers. You will also have a great understanding of ITIL and be used to working with service desk and engineering teams being their primary escalation point. The Infrastructure team provides the foundations upon which digital services for Teach First are developed and operate. Our purpose is to deliver secure, effective, and cost-efficient infrastructure services. This role requires being on call for mission critical services and emergency duties on Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays and Charity Closure Days. This is according to the Charity’s Technology Standby Rota.

• Do you have both hands-on experience working with security technologies such as SIEM, IDPS, MDR, Endpoint protection etc and proficient experience in independently delivering infrastructure & cyber security solutions, including on-premise, public and private cloud solutions?
• Do you have a broad comprehension of Cybersecurity frameworks. Including working knowledge of industry best practices, controls and standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001 and NCSC principles?
• Do you have a proficient, hands-on experience in technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, Active Directory, Windows Server 2016/2019, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VPNs, Veeam, Cisco Meraki, Watch Guard Firewalls, PowerShell scripting?
• Do you have strong experience in cloud technologies including Azure IAAS, M365, SharePoint, Azure AD, Intune, Azure SQL, SAML, SSO, Windows 365, Cloud Flare and Certificate management, Database Management?
• Do you possess an excellent track record of identifying, prioritising and solving complex Infrastructure incidents within SLA’s?
• Do you have qualifications or equivalent experience in Azure, Windows Server, ITIL 4, Project Management, CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+?
