Description TEKsystems is actively seeking 100% Lead Travel Technician working on commercial projects throughout the country. Candidates from Nashville preferred but open to other places throughout country.. They are looking for a lead installation technician to lead on-site installations, from conduit and cabling to complex security systems, ensuring each project meets quality standards and is completed efficiently. Candidate must be able to install, terminate, and test Cat6 cabling, security cameras, and associated infrastructure, including structured telecom cabling, fire alarm systems, and other low-voltage projects. Must have ability to read blueprints, build out cable pathways to avoid obstructions and electrical, run cat6/fiber/coax/etc., know NEX codes for low voltage, build server racks, mount access points/ cameras/access panels/fire alarm hardware and testing of all systems. Technicians will need to provide all hand tools, cordless drills, punch tools. All Ether will provide all consumables, specific training needed, and any access requirements. This lead will be only leading 1-3 technicians. This opportunity will provide A LOT of overtime.
