Description
Develop, configure and maintain full-stack applications for payroll and time tracking systems. Collaborate with HR, payroll, and business leaders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical and functional solutions. Collaborate with architects and analysts to design system components and integrations. Configure and maintain the payroll and T&L modules to align with company policies, union agreements, and labor laws. This includes setting up time entry rules, pay groups, absence types, and other parameters. Create detailed documentation, including technial/functional design specifications, process flows, test cases, and user guides Design, build, and maintain integrations between payroll/time & labor systems with other thirs party systems Partnering with vendors for system implementations and migrations. Author high-quality, unit-tested code and ensure responsiveness and performance. Participate in all phases of testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the system is complete and accurate. Proactively identify and propose business process and system enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience Debug and perform root cause analysis for technical issues, working with the vendor's support team when necessary Provide ongoing production support by investigating, analyzing, and resolving software and process problems for end-users. #LI-AR7 Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline 8-10 years Payroll, Time & Labor Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Payroll and Time & Attendance modules would be preferred Techno-Functional person with knowledge/or ability to learn and undrstand the Payroll processes, configurations and integrations with other systems Understanding/ or ability to learn the Pay policy frameworks, timecard approval workflows, absence tracking, accrual management, work schedules, leave policies, overtime rules Any prior hand-on experience on Payroll, Time & Labor application would be an added advantage Ability to set up and manage integrations between the payroll/time system and other internal or third-party applications, such as a legacy payroll system, finance tools, or time collection devices Ability to analyze technical errors, debug code or configurations, and design solutions to complex issues Skills in writing and executing unit, system, and integration test scripts to validate changes and new functionality Skill in creating and maintaining detailed technical specifications, design documents, and support guides Skill in collaborating with business stakeholders, including payroll and HR staff, to gather, interpret, and validate business requirements. Ability to analyze business needs and compare them against the capabilities of the current system to identify gaps that require custom development or process changes. Agile methodologies: Experience with Agile development practices and DevOps processes using Jira and Confluence would be preferred ERP Programming Excellent proficiency with the English language (written and verbal) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Problem solving, Analytical thinking, Multitasking and strong Organizational skills Leads cross-functional teams including Architects, QA, developers, SMEs, and business analysts during all phases of the projects
