For one of our clients, we are looking for a Lead Developer.
The Lead Developer main responsibility is to ensure that all of the developers in the team meet the quality standards agreed by the intake team and Tech Team.
Responsibilities:
The Lead Developer (“LD”) work closely with Tech Team on any issues, problems that developers noticed during development.
LD is the first point of contact in case of any technical issues or problems.
- She/He need to attend and actively participate in Tech Team meeting
- She/He is accountable for building awareness for deadlines in development process, she/he ensure that this is escalated to Product Owner/SRQ Owner.
- She/He is accountable for presenting problems to Tech Team and later on for providing detailed solution to the developers how to handle the problem.
- She/He is responsible for improving knowledge in the team.
- Present new solutions, practices developed by Tech Team to the team.
- LD is responsible for building dialog between the SRQ Owners and the developers.
- She/He provide guidance to other developers how to estimate work, how to communicate efficiently with SRQ Owners about development estimates, how to control estimates.
- Do a Tech QA review for each SRQ developed in the agreed time with the team
- Ensure that the features developed by team are produced to the highest possible quality
- Showing developers in team better ways of doing things and helping them improve their skills.
- Act as an example to all the developers in team by being the person who most closely follows the principles and practices set by Tech Team and committed to best practices in the team.
