ClearPoint is seeking multiple contract Lead Engineers to partner with one of our clients on a large-scale initiative. We’re looking for Lead (and/or Senior) Java Engineers who are passionate about collaborating in teams to deliver exceptional customer product experiences. If you’re customer-focused, thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment, and are eager to shape the future, we want to hear from you!
You will possess strong expertise in Java (preferably with Spring Boot), cloud-native development on AWS, and building distributed, event-driven systems. Experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3), messaging services (SNS, SQS), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is highly desirable. Proficiency in CI/CD practices, DevOps, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) will set you apart.
As a Technical Lead, you’ll play a key role in guiding cross-functional teams, working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Product Owners to deliver high-quality commercial software projects. A background in consulting or client-facing environments, and an ability to bring fresh perspectives on product documentation and user experience, will be a strong advantage.
These are contracting roles (3-6 months initially), based on-site with our client (3+ days per week) in Central Auckland. Immediate availability is essential.
