LOCATION: AUSTRALIA, REMOTE

We partner with leading operators across the betting industry to produce and build multilingual, best-in-class digital products and content to engage and educate customers. ICS-digital, an international marketing agency including ICS-translate, also operates under the group.
ANZ Bloodstock News is a newsletter published seven days a week, and content comes from a wide range of international contributors. The commercial clients of the publication are based across a wide spectrum of time zones (from the USA to NZ).
As a key member of the ANZ Bloodstock News team, your primary responsibility will be producing lead stories for the daily newsletter. This role includes covering the major sales across Australasia, attending various race meetings and visiting stud farms. You will be required to report on key events in the racing and bloodstock calendar, sourcing and producing interesting and varied news stories and features for the daily newsletter.

REQUIREMENTS



    • Excellent knowledge and keen interest in Australasian bloodstock, horse racing and an understanding of the betting industry

    • Sales reporting experience
    • Varied and excellent contacts within the racing and bloodstock industry
    • Ability to work under pressure on varied tasks with demanding deadlines
    • High standard of written English
    • Strong planning and organisational skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Experience of working in an editorial team

      Responsibilities
      • Write bloodstock news, racing stories and features in a timely and accurate manner
      • Helping plan editorial content with the bloodstock international editor
      • Attend major sales and events in Australasia when required
      • Monitor the bloodstock market and trends in the industry
      • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry figures
      • Social media duties, including posting editorial content and breaking news on X, Facebook and Instagram
      • Any other duties as and when required including proofing and writing Australasian-focused features for Racing Post Bloodstock desk
      • Follow house style and adhere to media and copyright law
      • Build and nurture a strong network of contacts in the racing industry
