LEAD LABORATORY MANAGER – SOIL & PLANT TESTING

ABOUT THE ROLE

Law Fertilisers is an independent, family-run agricultural business with over 40 years of experience in fertiliser manufacturing. We are now entering an exciting new chapter — the launch of our state-of-the-art soil and plant analysis laboratory, built from the ground up to support growers and agronomists with accurate, timely data.
We are seeking an experienced, capable and motivated Laboratory Manager or Senior Technician to help lead this transformation. This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the ground up — helping shape the design, equipment choices, and operational protocols of a brand-new facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee installation, calibration and use of new lab equipment (including ICP, digesters, drying ovens, etc.)
• Develop and implement lab procedures for soil and plant tissue testing
• Ensure full compliance with laboratory quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Train and manage any future laboratory staff or assistants
• Liaise with the management team on lab capability and business integration
• Play a key role in shaping how the lab operates — from sample intake to final reporting
