Job Description Our Lead Line Cook @ The Cardinal at North Hills plays a key role in delivering high-quality, from-scratch meals in a hospitality-driven independent living environment. This position supports the Executive Chef by leading daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and consistency, mentoring team members, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. The Lead Cook sets the tone on the line and helps create a positive dining experience for residents and guests. Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday (rotating weekends) Out by 9:30pm Pay Range: $20/hr - $22/hr Paid Vacation / Sick Time / 7 Paid HolidaysExcellent - Medical / Dental / Vision Benefits / 401K Free Meal each shift What's in it for me? Assist in the production of creatively designed cuisine Cook according to menus, production sheet and recipes with consideration Maintain kitchen and food preparation in a clean and sanitary manner Deliver all invoices to Dining Services Director in a timely fashion Maintain records or meals served and records of food and supplies used as required What will I need to be successful in this role? Be a high school graduate (preferred) Have one to three years of cooking experience Special Requirements/Certifications: Must have Food Handler’s certification as required What do we do?
