Description

This is a temporary opportunity to join our Materials Management team and play a key role in our storage and distribution processes at the Haverhill site which ensures vital medicines reach patients and our customers worldwide.
We offer temperature-controlled trailer and shipping capabilities and transport via air freight ensuring quality, safety and efficiency at every stage of our process.
The Lead Logistics Co-ordinator & Warehouse Support is a hybrid role of an expert in logistics, with some trade and compliance experience, and also offering essential support to the day to day warehouse activities.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record with current Import and Export processes
  • Full understanding of Incoterms
  • Worked within a Warehouse environment before
  • Experience with Pharmaceutical transportation is an advantage
  • Full Microsoft package understanding [Word/Excel/PP]
  • Completed a Chamber of Commerce [or equivalent] Trade [Incoterm, Import & Export] course
  • Previous use of SAP an advantage
  • Forklift experience [VNA/Counterbalance/Ride on] an advantage
  • Team player
  • Self-Motivated
Responsibilities

You will:

  • Actively promote safe working and GMP/GDP compliance activities according to agreed company/legislative standards.
  • Be self-driven and will provide a positive contribution within your team and across the site.
  • Work without supervision to Coordinate Logistics & Trade requirements, ensuring compliance in all areas.
  • Take lead accountability for all activities associated with Import/Export/Transportation compliance to ensure adherence with internal EUROAPI policies and external regulatory and governing bodies.
  • Support the main warehouse activities on the shop floor.
  • Demonstrates leadership and commitment with respect to the Quality & Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management systems, by taking ownership & driving accountability for continually improving their effectiveness.
  • Be aware of all health, safety and environmental standards in all working areas.
  • Be compliant with all quality systems.
  • Be responsible for prompt and accurate data entry in all databases and operating systems ALCOA.
  • Approve and manage carrier invoices
  • Ensure the area is always audit ready and be prepared to support audits and tours.
  • Resolve complex problems where there may be no precedent or clear process to follow, escalates appropriately.
  • Follow GXP - Good Manufacturing / Distribution Practices.
