Description

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Installer to manage and execute low-voltage installation projects in commercial environments. This role requires an active Connecticut low-voltage license (T1, T2, C5, or C6) and proven leadership experience on job sites. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Supervise and mentor installation crews on low-voltage projects. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and licensing regulations. Technical Duties: Install, terminate, and test low-voltage systems including voice/data cabling, AV systems, access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks. Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Coordination: Collaborate with project managers for scheduling and resource allocation. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and challenges. Required Qualifications: Active Connecticut Low Voltage License (T1, T2, C5, or C6). Minimum 3–5 years of experience in low-voltage installation and maintenance. Demonstrated ability to lead crews and manage projects independently. Strong understanding of low-voltage systems and industry standards. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as BICSI, CTS, or equivalent. Experience with AV systems, network cabling, and integrated workspace solutions. OSHA 10 and lift certifications. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of East Hartford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
