Job Title: RHC Convenient Care Lead Nurse     Immediate Supervisor: RHC Director              Job Summary:   A RHC Convenient Care Lead Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practices within the scope of the nurse practice act in accordance with Illinois licensure in an outpatient facility. The RHC Convenient Care Lead Licensed Practical Nurse is inclusive of but not limited to the job description for the RHC Convenient Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) job description, in addition to the responsibilities outlined in this job description. Primary duties include but are not limited to: * Creates and maintains Convenient Care clinical staffing schedules, coordinating coverage. * Maintains and monitors all inventory including but not limited to medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. * Completes monthly Rural Health Checks. * Communicates and collaborates with providers and team members to provide coordinated care, serving as an advocate for the patient. * Participates in review process of nursing staff. * Participates in the interview process of nursing applicants. * Other duties as assigned by the RHC Director to meet the needs of the patient population and practice.   Qualifications: Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Practical/Vocational Nursing. Licensure: Current active Illinois license. Training: * Current CPR/AED Certification as a Healthcare Provider * Within one to three months of employment, employee must demonstrate knowledge, competency, and proficiency in performing the duties of this position as outlined in the job summary and tasks above. * Participate in continuing education programs as required by licensure practice act.  * Ongoing training including but not limited to review of all policies, procures, and protocols pertinent to LPN responsibilities and clinic routines. * Mandatory training as announced to meet the needs of the organization.   Experience:  * 3+ years of Convenient Care experience * 2+ years of Memorial Hospital Chester experience * Clinical lab experience is required, will train employee if needed   Work Environment:  * Convenient Care settings are typically fast-paced and busy, requiring LPNs to work efficiently and effectively under pressure. * LPNs may be exposed to infectious diseases and other hazards. * The work environment may include a mix of clinical patient care and administrative support tasks.
Responsibilities
