Quadra Industrial Group has an opening for one lead journeyman machinist.
Responsibilities include the manufacture and repair of mechanical equipment using manual lathes, milling machines, a radial arm drill, and a hydraulic press. None of our equipment at this location will be CNC.
Job Requirements:
Read Seal Journeyman Certification
Candidates must have extensive experience operating manual lathes and milling machines.
Line boring, welding, millwrighting and heavy equipment repair experience is an asset
Interpret blueprints, make detailed sketches for future reference
Review incoming jobs as assigned to determine timelines and provide feedback to customers as required
Prepare estimates for review by Shop Manager for machining work as required
Versatile, able to take on one time jobs from start to finish independently as you may be the only machinist in the shop.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
