Responsibilities

AS A LEAD MAINTAINABILITY ENGINEER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Leading design activities and reviews, providing technical guidance to embed maintainability considerations early in the product development lifecycle.
  • Mentoring and motivating cross-functional teams—spanning design, installation, and supply chain—to achieve on-time delivery and technical excellence.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders and global/local vendors to ensure consistent maintenance methodologies and seamless installation practices.
  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing strategic enhancements.
  • Leading design activities and reviews, providing technical guidance to embed maintainability considerations early in the product development lifecycle.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a solid engineering background, ideally based on a Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Degrees in Aerospace, Aeronautical or equivalent will be also considered.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance and/or installation design.
  • Demonstrate a track record of applying innovative approaches to problem-solving and R&D initiatives.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, having previously led and mentored engineering teams in technically complex environments.
  • Possess a self-starting attitude and strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Be proficient in CAD software and related engineering tools, with familiarity in simulation, finite element analysis (FEA), or similar analysis methods considered an asset.
  • Being familiar with FMEA methodology to proactively identify and mitigate potential design and process risks
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Show an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality technical documentation and engineering support.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders with strong influencing and facilitation skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience creating clarity and engagement across functions
