Description The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, preventative maintenance, and general building repairs. This position requires a proactive problem solver who is technically savvy, detail-oriented, and able to respond effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections throughout the property Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems Respond to maintenance requests and emergency service calls in a timely manner Maintain guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and exterior grounds Monitor and maintain pool systems and chemical levels Identify operational issues before they become major failures Maintain accurate maintenance logs, PM schedules, and work orders Maintain parts inventory Assist with vendor coordination and outside contractors when needed Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards and local codes Support renovation projects, equipment installations, and facility improvements Utilize maintenance software and technology systems effectively Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in hotel, commercial, apartment, or facility maintenance Strong working knowledge of: Electrical troubleshooting Plumbing systems HVAC systems Mechanical equipment General building maintenance Pool certification – OCCHD certified within 60 days EPA certification Ability to work with hand and power tools safely Experience with preventative maintenance programs Ability to troubleshoot independently and prioritize multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable with multiple technologies Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency calls as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in indoor/outdoor environments Preferred Traits Self-motivated and dependable Strong communication skills Professional appearance and attitude Team-oriented with a willingness to assist other departments Calm under pressure and solutions-focused Takes ownership and pride in the condition of the property
