JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mastery in repair and maintenance of commercial Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and associated components
  • Performs periodic maintenance and repair of refrigerant units, Glycol systems, chilled water systems and dryers
  • Operates building automation systems, repair pneumatic and digital controls
  • Mastery in response to building system casualties immediate restoration of services
  • Mastery in trouble shooting and repair of VAV and CAV controls, humidity controls
  • Mastery in the performance of scheduled preventative maintenance of the Air Handling Units (AHU)

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

  • Technical or Vocational Diploma preferred, or combination of equivalent experience and education in a related field in lieu of a Diploma
  • Journeyman’s license or State Certification in an engineering trade, registered Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (ACR) Technician. Ten (10) years’ experience in a related trade or a Technical Associate’s Degree may be substituted for the requirement of certification and license
  • 5 years experience Required
