Description It is the primary responsibility of the Lead Maintenance Tech to ensure all work scheduled is assigned and completed. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff with assignments, complete and close-out work orders, walk daily route, report and supervise necessary repairs Recognize equipment that needs repairs, adjustments, or replacement, maintain equipment and logbooks Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat and orderly at all times Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention Requirements Performs other job-related duties as requested Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Education High School Diploma or GED Required Work Experience 4+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Maintenance Engineer Required 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Hotel or industrial complex property Preferred Additional Requirements Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to operate a skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, or other heavy equipment Knowledgeable of repair and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms Ability to lead and mentor a team Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
