OVERVIEW

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician. The position will require good electrical trouble shooting skills as well as a good mechanical aptitude. We are seeking qualified candidates with five years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance with an emphasis on electrical installation and troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma required
  • 5 years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance with an emphasis on electrical installation and troubleshooting
  • Experience maintain ing and troubleshooting automated conveyor equipment preferred
  • 1 year of lead experience.
  • Certifications in basic electrical, mechanical, motor control relay logic, and schematic reading preferred
  • Experience operating boom and scissor lifts required

K nowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to use basic electrical test instruments to include VOM multi-meter, clamp on ampere meter, and other basic test instruments
  • Mechanical skills related to installation, maintenance, and repair of various campus electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs routinely throughout the work shif

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for but is not limited to machine installation, control wiring installations and troubleshooting to the component level, PLC understanding and troubleshooting skills, anchoring equipment, running conduit, pulling wire, termination of conductors, maintenance and rebuilding of equipment, and other routine maintenance duties .
