Requirements Qualifications: Minimum of one year previous maintenance experience is preferred . Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Must possess broad knowledge base of HVAC, general preventative maintenance, repair, construction, electrical, plumbing needs. Must present a well groomed appearance. Must be at least twenty-one years of age. Must possess basic math and computer skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Essential Job Functions: Maintain knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. Keep assigned areas clean and well maintained. HVAC knowledge and previous experience using, diagnosing, and fixing commercial HVAC equipment Daily task list for property quality checks i.e, F&B refrigerator temps, ice machines, etc., all inclusive list provided. Ability to use and operate multiple classifications of tools and equipment. Be on-call for property maintenance emergencies. Maintain accurate records for repairs, preventative maintenance, supply ordering, outside contracting and incident tracking. Ability to communicate with and meet needs of all departments. Ability to work in confined spaces, extreme heat, heights, and in dimly lit areas. Protect the integrity of the company by identifying and maintaining safety standards in accordance with all governing regulations. Clean biohazards as necessary using proper safety precautions. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Environment and ADA Requirements: Must be able to stand for entire shift. Must be able to converse over the telephone in an environment with loud background noise. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 100 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to stoop, bend and reach. Must have the manual dexterity required to write and operate computer. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many customers. When on casino floor, must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
